DarkFall

Just wondering if any ppl here plan on tryn DarkFall, from what I understand it's heavilt guild based. How kewl would it be to get all RYL vets in the same guild? I don't wanna join some massive guild where I dont know anyone, but I dont wanna organize one either... anyone up for that challenge? Server opens on the 22. Prolly to late to try to organize but you never know. Anyone planning on starting a guild there?

there will be us and eur servers?

ive looked a bit into Darkfall, yes the graphics on mobs and the environment are great, but they charecter looks kinda let them down ALOT!, dont know about gameplay etc.. as i aint played it, but looking into the races i just dont like the mechanics of it one bit, may give it a try but i doubt its going to be a game i will stay with. especially seems GW2 isnt too far away now, i will always still enjoy RYL as its an all time classic MMO, perfect game mechanics and all (well before it was messed with so much anyway). Anyway i going to beta test GW2 in the future so i let yall know what its like, and do a few vids etc.. and link em for everyone, might be worth a shot if it is all what it says it will be. That being said i also would love to see a Guild form of all the old school RYL players, well the nice ones who dont go out of our way to anoy the others.
Such a shame Darkness kinda ended as that used to be the very guild who followed this, anyway i realise it kinda morphed into V, but down the line has i hate to say as it sounds rather Hitlar like, but it has been infected with some bad blood so to speak. But atleast its not full of horrible people like some other guilds out there, no prices for guessing the names of those guilds, luckilly they mostly moved away to WoW.
I kinda lost contect with most of the old FX and Hayabussa Founders so unfortunatly i cant help them find this forum to find out about MorbidA's servers, shame really coz well FX atleast was 1/2 the POTE server under the rule of Me as MK, and Marlie as KR, and both as GP, used to love those days when we basically ran server PvP, yeah i know i was proberly all of your enemies for quite some time in the passed, but it was FX vs the rest of the server back in those days. not like that will ever happen again in RYL but i would so love it if it did, having i think it was 14 full guilds under one banner kinda rocked, appart from having to switch charecters and accounts alot while only having the one computer at the time was kinda anoying.
Oh gives me an idea..... maybe add a few more levels to guild to increase the max population, if a server that big was ever to return, and maybe we can get all those old vets back once again.
yeah yeah i know what you said about having a small guild where you knew everyone, but in FX i did know everyone, and you gotta take into account that most peeps had everyone of their alts in the guild also, so it wasnt as big as it sounds.
PvPing Vs DaTs and the Darkness crew, vs Bloods, vs Heyabussa, vs Phix etc.... now those where the days i would love to see return.....
OK i think i rambled on enough now about the passed, looking to the future now, and hope to see you all in what i hope will be the best RYL server ever made and i also hope the longest lasting one, MorbidA's newest server he is currently making.

Ive also been recently puttin some focus on this game. I think the concept is pretty cool and is quite similar to RYL. Its not just another point and click MMO, its a mix of FPS. Have you played it yet DATS? I am downloading the client now but i belive ill need a beta code to actually play.

yeah i would love to test out the water in Darkfall, all i got atm is what others say and gameplay videos.

Yeah ive been reading the forums. It seems they have been having trouble with the amount of people who placed preorders. They also have some bugs and problem that need fixing. I still want to try the game out but i dont want to have to preorder it to find out whether or not i like it.

i aint gonna lie, i had fun in the closed beta, it really is an interesting game :S just kinda disappointed i didnt get to play it much

nah i quit wow this winter :S got bored, and ya ill prolly play darkfall once they open up sales

they are having there issues as they are a small team, but the game itself looks amazing. Anyways did u miss out on the orders today? i did as i was in school but hopely ill be ready tommorow, as they said they will sell a limited amount each night ( greece time ).

But yeah lets hope lol, they arent doing the best job of communicating.
